Dora, a quaint and very historic town located on the edges of Lake Dora. There is plenty of history to be witnessed in this beautiful area. Mt. Dora is even home to a train, which you can buy a ticket to ride on and enjoy a professionally prepared dinner! During the winter months there is a boat that leaves from the local hotel and drives across the lake to a little canal passage. Down that canal is a trailer park that goes all out and decorates from top to bottom in Christmas lights and holiday themed accessories. It is a site to see and is reasonably priced for how far you actually go!
