Tickets are only $5 and beer flows for 3 hours for free. Sanford is also home to the only zoo in this area! Each spring the doors open at 6pm to the local residents to have ‘Brews Around the Zoo’. This even helps raise money for the zoo and its inhabitants. Scattered throughout the zoo are beer booths and food trucks with various types of beer and wine to consume.
Sanford also has the second largest airport in the area – Sanford International Airport. This airport does have flights all over the country and can be a great option to use rather than Orlando International simply because of the fewer number of travelers.
